YMCA of Williamson County
At the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in Cedar Park you will find numerous opportunities through our expansive and state-of-the-art facilities to help achieve the YMCA vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. In addition to dozens of sports and other classes for kids, teens and adults alike, our YMCA facility offers quite a bit in terms of amenities to meet everyone’s needs. For additional information on our programs and events, please check out the Information Center, What’s New & Department Update items on this page or contact our Member Services Desk at (512) 250-9622 (YMCA).
The Strong Kids Campaign is central to the YMCA mission and critical to carrying out our vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. By giving, you can help make sure that every boy and girl as well as their family can participate in life-enriching programs through the YMCA – regardless of their ability to pay. Every dollar you contribute makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families we serve and helps us give kids the power of values, so that they can grow up to become productive adults.
One hundred percent of every dollar goes directly to children and families in need based on income, family size and economic circumstance. By pledging your gift and paying it throughout the year, you can assist more children. Contributions may be made by check, American Express, Discover, VISA or MasterCard. Final payment on your pledge need not be made until December 31, and the YMCA’s Financial Development Office can send you monthly or quarterly reminders to fulfill your pledge.

Hill Country Community Ministries
Hill Country Community Ministries is a nonprofit organization, a coalition of churches founded in 1983 to help families in crisis and those living in poverty in southwest Williamson and far northwest Travis counties. We are supported by area churches, businesses, civic organizations, concerned individuals, and the United Way of Williamson County—including the dedicated service of more than 200 volunteers.
Samaritan Health Ministries
The volunteers that provide direct and supportive patient services are the heart and soul of SHM. Volunteers come from the communities served by SHM, many through local churches and other community organizations. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community, and want a life-enriching experience of working with a group of compassionate people, you are welcome to visit the clinic during a Monday evening or Wednesday morning session to see what we are about. Bi-lingual (primarily Spanish) volunteers are more than ever needed. Volunteer application forms are available under the forms link in the main menu.

“Cedar Park on the Move”
Cedar Park On the Move! is a community fitness initiative for all ages. It is geared for beginners, but open to all fitness levels.
Our goal is to provide a safe and friendly group walking activity each week where participants increase their daily steps from their own personal baseline–no matter what that is–by just 2,000. In addition, participants will receive tips on decreasing 100 calories each day from their regular eating habits. These two small changes add up to BIG results over time!
We have combined the solid research and interactive tools provided by America On the Move – a national program helping people increase daily physical activity and eat more healthfully by making small changes – with unprecedented participation from Cedar Park health professionals to bring you an EASY, FREE and measurable program.
This community program is hosted by the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in partnership with the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, Williamson County & Cities Health District, Williamson County Parks & Recreation, City of Cedar Park, Austin Community College, Leander ISD, Lakeline Mall, and local health professionals.
